Your Horse and Rider Resource in Texas
Clinic is full!!
Come join us for all or part of our three day desensitizing clinic. Friday evening from 7-10 we’ll be working on stepping over and on to things like tarps, bridges, mattresses etc. Saturday will be a split session with the morning being 8-noon and the evening being 7-10. We’ll start the morning off learning several training methods like approach and retreat or flooding. Don’t worry you’ll learn all about it 🙂 We’ll start out easy and work our way up to harder stuff. And we’ll have several water related items (like sprinklers and water crossings) to help cool you and your horse off. Saturday night we’ll continue from there morning session and even have several types of fire encounters to work on. Sunday will be 8- noon again and we’ll progress to things like smoke and gunfire. You are welcome to continue working on your own during the afternoon breaks or it’s a great time for a nap! Thistraining is beneficial to any experience level and can be done from the ground, in the saddle, or ideally a little of both. We’ll be spending as much time as possible in the covered arena or in the shade to protect horse and rider from the Texas heat. We’d love to have you all three days at just $200 for the whole clinic. If you can’t make the whole run it will be $75 for each of the 4 sessions or $100 for both Saturday sessions. Clinic limited to 12 participants to ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve. Stalls/pens and rv hook ups available
