Due to the extreme heat, the Lee Smith scheduled for August has been cancelled. Hopefully, the Clinic will be rescheduled at a later date.
Grateful Heart Events is pleased to present Arizona horsewoman, Lee Smith for an Essential Elements of Horsemanship Foundation / Advanced Clinic August 18, 19 and 20, 2018.
Prepare you and your horse for a greater level of performance.
Communicate without force or fear – establish a willing partnership with a soft, relaxed and responsive horse.
Whatever your interest – join Arizona Horsewoman Lee Smith and learn the essential elements of QUALITY horsemanship.
3 days of ground work and under saddle:
Timing, feel, balance, rhythm, lead changes, collection, lateral movement and problem solving. Foundation and Advanced.
Covered arena – don’t worry about the heat!
Our clinic will focus on Lee’s Essential Elements of Horsemanship and will include two options for participants.
Morning Session: Foundation Horsemanship
Afternoon Session: Advanced Horsemanship
Note: The terms, Foundation and Advanced, can be applied to the horse, or the rider, or both. Participants are welcome to bring two horses and register for both sessions.

Lee is a gifted and eloquent teacher who has extraordinary insight into horses and people. Lee considers herself a student of the horse and lucky to have shared her experience with thousands of horse people.Lee has worked with some of the most renowned horsemen in the country. It was her privilege to participate in the first (2011) Legacy of Legends gathering honoring Ray Hunt and Tom Dorrance. She and her husband, Mark, have a cow-calf operation and raise quality Quarter horses outside of Wickenburg, AZ.
