NRS Versatility Ranch Horsemanship with Trevor Carter Clinic 2018 – Decatur, TX

Morning: Purposeful Horsemanship
8am-12pm
In the mornings, we’ll focus on your horsemanship by challenging it with patterns and obstacles in ranch riding in trail. We’ll work on dynamics of leads and lead changes and use cattle to help improve your stops and turns.
Afternoon: Cow Work + Ranch Roping
1pm-5pm
In the afternoon, we’ll be refining those skills into performance elements, where we’ll be working with cattle to strengthen commitment and understanding from you and your horse. Tracking, Driving, Boxing, Fencing Preparations, and an introduction to Ranch Roping. (Even if you don’t rope, you and your horse will gain great insight from the roping exercises and see how it translates to everything else.)
