The Pin Oak Charity Horse Show, has grown into the oldest and most prestigious horse show in the country, and one of Houston’s most unique social and fundraising events, raising millions of dollars for our charities, Texas Children’s Hospital, Houston’s Ronald McDonald Family Rooms and Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance.
The Pin Oak Charity Horse Show will be held over a two week period at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center in Katy and features a wide array of equestrian talent featuring hunters and jumpers, American Saddlebreds, Andalusians / Lusitanos, and Welsh ponies.
The crown jewels of the show take place in each of the two weeks. Saturday evening of Week One features the Pin Oak $30,000 Grand Prix and Breed Championship Finals. Week Two features the $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby hosted by Valobra Jewelry and Antiques on Thursday and the $30,000 Pin Oak Grand Prix on Friday. All of these events have ringside galas and special entertainment.
